• Emotional stress- there are some people who attest that stress, minor traumas and anxiety can be a cause of Angioneurotic Edema although there is no concrete medical proof to claim that stress can cause such condition. It is always good to have a healthy emotional disposition at all times.
• Genes- it is also claimed that Angioneurotic Edema is hereditary.
• Venom, molds and bee stings can also cause Angioneurotic Edema.

• Antihistamines – this is an example of over- the- counter medication that you can avail of for acute attacks.
• Calcium channel blockers- this medication can prevent the motion of calcium in one’s blood vessel and heart cells which can increase blood supply and oxygen.
• Doxepin – an antidepressant that can temporarily relieve pain.
• Colchicine- this is usually used to treat arthritis.
• Danazol – commonly used to treat endometriosis.
• Terbutaline- often used for labor pain.

Angioneurotic Edema is a skin condition that should be taken seriously. It can cause serious complications if not treated at the soonest time possible. Remember to stay away from allergic-causing materials. With a little precaution and regular visits to your doctor, Angioneurotic Edema is a condition that could easily be prevented.
